Floating Market  Lok Baintan in  Martapura river a traditional floating market, traders in this market selling garden produce, agricultural and household production of diverse merchandise them on top boats or boats without engines. Lok Baintan floating market is located in the village of Sungai Pinang, Sungai Tabuk, Banjar.
Floating Market Lok Baintan has been going on since the 18th century along the shores of the river flow Martapura. On average traders came from villages around them like a Lenge river , Bakung river, Paku Alam river, Saka  Bunut river, Madang river, Tanifah River, and the River Lok Baintan.
To get to the floating markets Lok Baintan of the town centre can be reached with two alternatives. The first alternative Martapura down the river by using klotok, a type of boat engine. With klotok, travelling from downtown to the floating market fairly quickly only takes 30 minutes. The second alternative was to use land vehicles such as cars and motorcycles. But the second alternative requires a longer time: one hour to reach the floating market. That is because the terrain that tend to be heavy and tortuous.
Trading activity began at 06.00 am to 09.30 pm. Merchants dominated women by wearing headgear that is wide or Tanggui. The merchants can sell their goods in wholesale or retail, Floating Market is still valid barter system, the amount and the balance amount of barter results depending on the agreement between the two sides.
Floating Market Lok Baintan is the only floating market is still natural in Indonesia, even World, Lok Baintan is located in  Tabuk Banjar river  district.
